NHRC Recruitment 2026 – Deputation Vacancy Circular No. 07/2026

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued Deputation Vacancy Notice / Circular No. 07/2026 for filling up existing and anticipated vacancies on deputation basis. The circular is dated 20 July 2026 and has been issued under File No. A-12011/3/2025-Estt.

A total of 33 vacancies are notified across various posts ranging from Joint Director (Research), Assistant Registrar and Senior Research Officer to Assistant Librarian, Staff Car Driver, Constable and Despatch Rider.

This recruitment is not a regular direct recruitment. Applications are invited only from eligible serving officers/officials of the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territory Administrations, autonomous/statutory bodies, PSUs, recognised universities or recognised research institutions who fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Eligible candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format through proper channel along with APARs, Integrity Certificate, Vigilance/Disciplinary Clearance and other required documents. The application must reach the NHRC within 45 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News.

1. Download the prescribed Application Proforma (Annexure-I) attached to Circular No. 07/2026.

2. Carefully check the eligibility conditions for the particular post you wish to apply for.

3. Fill in the application form with your personal, educational, service and experience details.

4. Clearly mention the Name of Post Applied For.

5. Attach a recent passport-size photograph as prescribed.

6. Provide complete details of your present and previous employment, pay level and relevant experience.

7. Attach attested photocopies of APARs for the last five years.

8. Attach the required Integrity Certificate.

9. Attach Vigilance Clearance / Disciplinary Clearance.

10. Provide details of any major/minor penalties imposed during the last 10 years, if applicable.

11. Attach any other applicable documents required to establish eligibility.

12. Get the application properly verified and forwarded by the Cadre Controlling / Forwarding Authority.

15. Applications received directly from candidates, incomplete applications, applications without prescribed documents or applications received after the stipulated closing date will not be entertained.

Important Points

• This is Deputation Basis Recruitment, not a regular direct recruitment.
