Bank of India SO Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 205 Posts

Bank of India has released the recruitment notification for Specialist Officers (SO) in various streams up to Scale IV under Project No. 2026-27/02. A total of 205 vacancies have been announced for Officer, Manager, Senior Manager and Chief Manager-level specialist positions. The notification is dated 01 August 2026, while the online application window is scheduled from 10 September 2026 to 25 September 2026.

The vacancies are distributed across Scale I, Scale II, Scale III and Scale IV. The recruitment includes specialist roles related to IT and technology, Full-Stack Engineering, Digital Platforms, Data Engineering, DevSecOps, Information Security, Infrastructure, IT Procurement, Business Analysis, UI/UX, Law, Fire Safety, Security and Civil Engineering.

The total 205 vacancies are distributed as 28 posts in Scale I, 118 posts in Scale II, 49 posts in Scale III and 10 posts in Scale IV.

Eligibility requirements differ considerably from one post to another. Apart from educational qualifications, several specialist posts require relevant professional certifications and prior work experience. Selection may involve shortlisting, an online examination and/or personal interview, depending on the number of applications and the Bank's recruitment requirements. Where both the online examination and interview are conducted, the final selection weightage is 60% for the online examination and 40% for the interview.
