The Office of the Directorate General Assam Rifles,
Shillong has released the notification for the Assam Rifles Technical
and Tradesman Recruitment
Rally 2026 for enrolment into various Group C posts. A total of 354
vacancies are available in technical, tradesman and other specialist
categories. The online application process is scheduled to start from 28
September 2026, and eligible candidates can apply up to 28 October 2026
at 11:59 PM. The recruitment
rally is tentatively scheduled to commence from 23 November 2026 onwards.
Candidates must be Indian citizens and will be considered for vacancies
earmarked on an All-India, All-Class basis.
The recruitment includes posts such as Warrant Officer (Cipher), Rifleman, Havildar, and other technical/tradesman positions including Electrician, Lineman, Armourer, Engineer Equipment Mechanic, Recovery Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Mechanic, Welder, Draughtsman, Operation Theatre Technician, Physiotherapist and Mason.
