GATE 2027 Notification – Registration Starts from 14 August, Check Eligibility, Exam Dates & Complete Details

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027 का notification जारी हो चुका है। GATE 2027 एक prestigious national-level examination है, जिसे Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) organizing institute के रूप में conduct कर रहा है। यह examination Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts और Humanities जैसे विभिन्न academic disciplines में undergraduate-level knowledge का assessment करता है। GATE score का उपयोग विभिन्न institutes में postgraduate और doctoral programmes में admission के लिए किया जा सकता है। इसके अलावा कई Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) अपने recruitment process में GATE score का उपयोग करती हैं।

GATE 2027 के लिए online registration process 14 August 2026 से शुरू होगा। Regular application बिना late fee के 21 September 2026 तक submit की जा सकती है। इसके बाद extended registration window में candidates 30 September 2026 तक late fee के साथ application submit कर सकते हैं। Candidates को application process पूरा करने के लिए official GOAPS portal का उपयोग करना होगा। Application submit करते समय personal details, qualifying degree information, test paper preference, examination city preference, photograph, signature और अन्य required information carefully भरनी होगी।

GATE 2027 examination का आयोजन 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 और 21 February 2027 को किया जाएगा। Examination Computer Based Test (CBT) mode में होगी। Result की घोषणा 19 March 2027 को निर्धारित है। Admit card download की exact date अभी TBA है, जबकि official schedule में January 2027 के दौरान examination-related city allotment notification का उल्लेख किया गया है। सभी dates liable to change हैं, इसलिए candidates को official portal पर latest updates check करते रहना चाहिए।

GATE 2027 में कुल 30 test papers उपलब्ध हैं। Candidates इनमें से एक paper या approved combination के अनुसार अधिकतम दो papers में appear कर सकते हैं। दो papers के लिए अलग-अलग दो applications भरने की आवश्यकता नहीं है; candidate को एक ही application form में approved two-paper combination select करना होता है। Official instructions के अनुसार multiple applications submit करने पर केवल एक application accept किया जाएगा और बाकी applications reject की जा सकती हैं।

GATE 2027 के test papers में Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Architecture and Planning, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Information Technology, Chemistry, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science & Engineering, Ecology and Evolution, Geomatics Engineering, Geology & Geophysics, Instrumentation Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Production & Industrial Engineering, Robotics & Automation, Statistics, Engineering Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences और Life Sciences शामिल हैं।

GATE 2027 में Robotics & Automation (RA) एक नया test paper है। Official website पर test papers और syllabi में GATE 2027 के लिए syllabus revisions की जानकारी भी दी गई है। इसलिए candidates को previous-year syllabus के बजाय GATE 2027 का updated syllabus देखना चाहिए। विशेष रूप से Biotechnology, Textile Engineering & Fibre Science तथा XE, XH और XL sectional paper codes में updates किए गए हैं।

Eligibility की बात करें तो GATE 2027 में कोई सामान्य age limit नहीं है। Official FAQ के अनुसार GATE 2027 में appear होने के लिए कोई age limit नहीं है। Candidates undergraduate programme के third year या उससे ऊपर में studying कर रहे हों या eligible qualifying degree complete कर चुके हों, तो वे prescribed eligibility conditions के अनुसार examination में appear कर सकते हैं। यह eligibility Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts और Humanities के government-approved programmes तक विस्तारित है।

B.E., B.Tech. और B.Pharm. students जो third year या उससे ऊपर हैं अथवा qualifying degree complete कर चुके हैं, eligible categories में आते हैं। इसी प्रकार B.Arch., B.Sc. (Research)/B.S., B.Sc./B.A./B.Com. तथा M.Sc./M.A./MCA जैसे programmes के students भी prescribed year/degree criteria के अनुसार GATE 2027 में appear कर सकते हैं। Integrated M.Tech./Dual Degree programmes और recognized professional society examinations के candidates भी official eligibility criteria के अनुसार eligible हो सकते हैं।

GATE 2027 examination में candidates को अपने qualifying degree और admission plan के अनुसार appropriate test paper select करना चाहिए। Official FAQ के अनुसार candidate किसी भी paper को अपनी eligibility और intended admission plan को ध्यान में रखते हुए चुन सकता है, लेकिन जिस institute या programme में admission लेना है, उसकी own eligibility criteria को जरूर check करना चाहिए। GATE examination committee किसी candidate के लिए व्यक्तिगत paper recommendation नहीं करती।

GATE 2027 का examination paper कुल 100 marks का होगा। General Aptitude (GA) section सभी papers में common रहेगा और इसके 15 marks होंगे। बाकी 85 marks संबंधित test paper के syllabus से होंगे। Examination duration 3 hours है। Question types में MCQ, MSQ और NAT शामिल हैं। MCQ questions में applicable negative marking होगी, जबकि MSQ और NAT questions में negative marking नहीं होगी।

GATE score का सबसे प्रमुख उपयोग postgraduate admission में होता है। Valid GATE score के आधार पर candidates विभिन्न institutes में M.E., M.Tech. और अन्य Master's programmes के लिए admission seek कर सकते हैं। इसके अलावा relevant disciplines में direct doctoral और doctoral programmes में भी GATE score उपयोग किया जा सकता है, subject to the eligibility criteria of the concerned institute. GATE qualification अपने आप किसी institute में admission की guarantee नहीं देती; final admission संबंधित institute के rules और selection criteria के अनुसार होता है।

GATE score financial assistance के लिए भी उपयोगी हो सकता है। Official opportunities information के अनुसार qualifying GATE score वाले candidates Master's और direct Doctoral programmes के लिए financial assistance seek कर सकते हैं। M.Tech. students के लिए financial assistance ₹12,400 per month बताई गई है और generally 22 months तक दी जाती है। Direct Ph.D. candidates के लिए financial assistance पहले दो years में ₹37,000 per month और third से fifth year में ₹42,000 per month बताई गई है, subject to applicable rules.

GATE score का उपयोग कई PSUs के recruitment processes में भी किया जाता है। Official information के अनुसार कई Public Sector Undertakings GATE scores को recruitment में consider करती हैं। इनमें AAI, BHEL, BSNL, Coal India, CRIS, DVC, ECIL, EIL, GAIL, HAL, IOCL, NALCO, NHAI, NLCIL, NMDC, NPCIL, NTPC, ONGC, POWERGRID, SAIL आदि organizations शामिल हैं। हालांकि GATE qualify करना किसी PSU में job की guarantee नहीं देता; recruitment संबंधित PSU के अपने rules, vacancies और selection process के अनुसार होती है।

Application fee भी category-wise निर्धारित है। Female / SC / ST / PwD candidates के लिए regular registration period में fee ₹1,000 है और extended period में ₹1,500 है। All other candidates के लिए regular fee ₹2,000 और extended period में ₹2,500 है। Payment के दौरान service charges, processing fees या bank charges जैसी additional charges candidate को bear करनी पड़ सकती हैं।

Application process में candidate को GOAPS portal पर registration करना होगा। Valid email ID और mobile number का उपयोग करना होगा। इसके बाद application form में required personal, educational और examination-related details भरनी होंगी। Candidate को preferred test paper(s) और examination cities select करनी होंगी। Official FAQ के अनुसार candidates से छह examination city choices भरने को कहा जाता है और operational constraints के कारण final allotment अलग भी हो सकता है।

Photograph और signature upload करना application process का आवश्यक हिस्सा है। Official requirements के अनुसार photograph अच्छी quality की colour passport-size photograph होनी चाहिए, जिसका prescribed dimension 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm है। Face photograph में लगभग 60–70% area cover करना चाहिए और background white होना चाहिए। Candidate का face सीधे camera की तरफ होना चाहिए। Signature JPEG/JPG format में prescribed aspect ratio के अनुसार upload करनी होगी।

GATE 2027 examination केवल India के examination centres में आयोजित होगी। Official information के अनुसार international examination centres नहीं होंगे। Foreign nationals और Indian citizens residing abroad भी examination दे सकते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें India के examination city में centre select करना होगा और travel/accommodation की व्यवस्था स्वयं करनी होगी।

GATE 2027 score की validity 3 years है। इसका मतलब qualifying candidates का GATE score निर्धारित validity period के दौरान applicable admissions या other opportunities के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है, subject to the rules of the concerned institute or organization। Score validity का अर्थ यह नहीं है कि हर institute तीन साल पुराने score को automatically accept करेगा; admission requirements संबंधित institute के rules पर depend करती हैं।

Admit card examination से पहले official website से download करना होगा। Official FAQ के अनुसार admit card post या email attachment के रूप में नहीं भेजा जाएगा। Examination centre पर candidate को admit card की hard copy और original valid photo identity document लेकर जाना होगा। Mobile phone, tablet या laptop में केवल soft copy दिखाकर examination centre में entry नहीं दी जाएगी।

Result की घोषणा 19 March 2027 को scheduled है। Result के बाद eligible candidates अपने GATE score का उपयोग admission, financial assistance या applicable PSU recruitment opportunities के लिए कर सकते हैं। GATE scorecard की validity तीन years है। Official FAQ के अनुसार scorecard download करने के लिए prescribed period में कोई fee नहीं होगी, जबकि बाद में specified period तक download करने के लिए fee लागू हो सकती है।

यह भी ध्यान रखना जरूरी है कि GATE qualify करना अपने आप admission, scholarship या employment की guarantee नहीं देता। Admission संबंधित institute के eligibility और selection criteria पर depend करता है। इसी प्रकार PSU recruitment संबंधित organization की vacancy, eligibility, cutoff और selection process पर depend करती है। इसलिए GATE qualification को एक important eligibility/selection component के रूप में समझना चाहिए, न कि automatic admission या job guarantee के रूप में।

GATE 2027 उन students के लिए महत्वपूर्ण examination है जो Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, Commerce, Arts या Humanities से जुड़े postgraduate या doctoral studies की योजना बना रहे हैं। इसके अलावा PSU recruitment और research opportunities में भी GATE score उपयोगी हो सकता है। Candidates को registration से पहले eligibility, updated syllabus, test paper code, two-paper combinations, application fee और examination dates carefully check करनी चाहिए।

अंततः, GATE 2027 registration 14 August 2026 से शुरू होगी, regular application की last date 21 September 2026 है और late fee के साथ extended deadline 30 September 2026 है। Examination 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 और 21 February 2027 को आयोजित होगी और result 19 March 2027 को घोषित किया जाना निर्धारित है। IIT Madras GATE 2027 का organizing institute है और examination 30 test papers के लिए आयोजित होगी। Candidates को आवेदन करने से पहले official eligibility और updated syllabus check करके सही test paper selection करना चाहिए।
