How to Prepare for BPSC TRE 4.0 Exam 2026

• Start with the official BPSC TRE 4.0 syllabus and mark topics under Language, General Studies, and your chosen Concerned Subject separately, since all three carry different question counts.
• Since Part I (Language) has a fixed 30% qualifying cut-off, prioritise consistent accuracy in English and Hindi/Urdu/Bangla grammar and comprehension early in your preparation.
• Build a study timetable that allocates more time to Part III (Concerned Subject), as it carries the highest weight at 80 out of 150 marks.
• Practise previous year question papers and full-length mock tests for the 2-hour-30-minute format to build speed across all three parts in one sitting.
• Revise Mental Ability and General Awareness topics regularly through short daily sessions, since these sections reward retention over long study blocks.
• Track the official BPSC notification page for updates on the negative marking rule and category-wise qualifying marks, since these are not yet confirmed for TRE 4.0.
